The City of Atwater is pleased to announce it has partnered with Merced County, other cities, education providers, health care providers, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the Greater Merced Region to response to a nationwide expression of interest issued by Google. This collective group has provided information and submitted an comprehensive proposal outlining why the Greater Merged Region is a perfect candidate for investment by Google for a test location of its ultra - high speed broadband service.
