A public workshop regarding the widening of State Highway 99 and improvements to the Applegate Interchange has been scheduled for January 21, 2010.  The workshop will be held at the Atwater Community Center from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.  

The Merced County Assocation of Governments (MCAG), Merced County, and CALTRANS are working with the Cit of Atwater on a Project Study Report to address current and future impacts to the freeway and interchange.  Additional information is also available on the MCAG web site.
