HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) COLLECTION EVENT

Note: Quantity limitations apply to HHW
Household Hazardous Waste from both residents and Conditionally–Exempt
Small-Quantity Generators will be accepted on Saturday, April
Note: Fees apply for Conditionally-Exempt Small-Quantity
Generators, but there’s no cost to residents of Merced County
for this event. There is a quantity limitation to how much HHW
vehicles can transport to the event. Please call for more information.
Collection events are hosted by the RWA (Merced County, Regional
Waste Authority) and contracted through Clean Harbors.

Sales may only be held on the first and third
Friday, and/or Saturday, and/or Sunday of each month between the
hours of dawn and 4:00 p.m., including setup and take-down. The
driveway, yard or other space used for the garage sale shall be
restored to normal residential character at the conclusion of
the garage sale.
Consumers shall not irrigate any lawn or landscaped
area between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on any day of the week.
12:01 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM.

Odd numbered addresses watering days are Sun
on Mon.,Thurs., & Fri. is prohibited. To

Finance Counter/Window & Police Records: Mon.
- Thurs. Finance 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Police: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed from noon
to 1:00) for citizens to conduct business. Police emergency
services will continue to be provided 24 hours per day.
Building Division Window: Mon. -Thurs 8:00
AM to 5:00 PM.
Development Dept: Mon. through Thurs 8:00 AM to 6:00
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT INFORMATION:
Atwater City Council has requested that information be provided
to the public regarding proposed changes in the assessment districts
for the 2014-15 fiscal year - tax year.
